Mic Drop Media are proud to be the first to announce the official launch date for this new podcast, Talking Radio. With Barry Mare. With episode one launching on August 1, it come as no surprise as we see radio lovers from near and far, fighting to sit still as they wait in anticipation for the very first episode release.

Talking Radio. will see a couple of familiar faces such as Mark Pilgrim, Danny Painter, Sasha Martinengo, Renaldo Schwarp and Brian Oxley, as Barry chats to them about all the nitty gritty regarding radio in general, and gains advice into the world of presenting.

12 episodes have been confirmed but as to who you will be meeting, besides the few mentioned above you will just have to keep watching to find out who else you can expect to hear from as this podcast journey continues.

“I’m excited to be bringing out fresh original content. It’s been a long time since I worked on something of my own – Talking Radio. seemed like a logical decision because I have so much interest in the subject matter and guests,” said Barry Mare, the host of the show.


Chatting about their experiences, providing advice to like-minded individuals and everything and anything radio will be discussed on this platform. So, if you are a media junkie and would love to delve into the depths of radio – join Barry Mare as he takes on this new show with some legends and colleagues of his in the radio industry.

“I’m hoping to learn a lot from some of these radio legends – folks that have carved themselves healthy careers.”

The full episodes will be released on YouTube with the link being provided on August 1. However, you don’t need to panic if a full 15min episode cannot fit into your already busy schedule, you can find short clips and snippets on ‘what you missed’ – on Mic Drop Media’s social media pages – Instagram and Facebook as well as LinkedIn.
